We've just released Pathling 10.0.0 and Pathling server 3.1.0. The main new feature in both is support for Terminology in SQL, a part of the SQL on FHIR specification that lets a SQL query use value sets and concept maps as ordinary tables.
Pathling 9.9.0 adds a local terminology mode. SNOMED CT and FHIR terminology
content is imported once into a store on your own filesystem, and the
terminology functions then evaluate against that store instead of calling a
remote FHIR terminology server. The same seven functions, member_of,
translate, subsumes, subsumed_by, display, property_of and
designation, work identically in both modes. What changes is what you can do
with them.
Pathling server 3.0.0 is now available. It lets you build SQL queries out of other SQL queries, export a set of related views and queries as one consistent snapshot, and monitor every asynchronous job on the server from a single place. It also aligns the server with the operations balloted in version 3.0.0 of the SQL on FHIR specification.
We're excited to announce the release of a new Pathling server. This is a ground-up redesign that brings SQL on FHIR support, a web-based administration interface, Kubernetes deployment via Helm, and comprehensive bulk data operations.
